The British
Virgin Islands (Capital - Road Town/Tortola) are
among the world's loveliest cruising grounds.
Of these 60 islands, 16 are inhabited. The population of all the
islands is around 17,000. Tortola is the largest island with an area of 21
square miles. The other larger islands are Anegada -15 square miles,
Virgin Gorda - 8 square miles, Jost Van Dyke - 3 square miles. Smaller
islands include Great Tobago, Peter, Cooper, Norman, Guana, Beef, Great
Thatch and Marina Cay.
In the British Virgin Islands additional yacht charter destinations are:
1. One way
charters to US Virgin Islands,
2. One way charters to St Martin/St Maarten and/or
3. One way charters to or from Antigua.
You can also start your cruise
on any of the other islands in the archipelago although this may incur
delivery charges. We usually arrange embarkation in the home port of
bareboat charter yachts or in the bay next to the airport for crewed
charters. Lagoon, Catana and Fountain Pajot catamarans are readily
available in the BVI's
