There are many crewed, all-inclusive options across the Caribbean, but most of the fleets usually offer bareboat or skippered yachts  The most popular Lagoon catamaran models for charter are the Lagoon 500, Lagoon 440 and new Lagoon 420/421 models.

About LAGOON CATAMARANS

Lagoon, is today part of CNB company of the Beneteau group (world leader for the construction and comprehensive range of cruising catamarans designed by the architects Marc Van Peteghem and Vincent Lauriot Prevost, whose achievements on the racing multihulls scene are second to none.

First established 25 years ago, exactly in 1984, Lagoon was the direct progression of Jeanneau’s racing division  or Jeanneau Technique Avancées. Lagoon first made its mark on the racing monohullls and multihulls circuits with Pierre Ler, Fleury Michon, and others, whose winning record remains unbeaten to this day. Lagoon has also responded to one-off requirements such as the construction of the extraordinary trimarans for the movie Waterworld.

With an annual production of around 300 yachts a year and as a part of the highly successful Beneteau group, Lagoon has an enormously experienced design, production and management team. We recognise that our owners travel far and wide, often on a live-aboard basis, and they keep their yachts for longer than any other category of yacht. They understand the importance of a strong builder to protect their investment down the years, in terms of warranty, spares, help and advice.

A Lagoon sailing catamaran is an excellent long term yachting investment and in particular a very user friendly charter boat. Each model has a surprisingly long model life: after all it makes better sense to continuously refine existing designs wherever possible than to try and stimulate the market with endless re-inventions. The Lagoon 410, for example, enjoyed a successful 10 year production period before the new 400 finally appeared in 2009. A long model life combined with a long average period of ownership will restrict the number and choice of yachts on the re-sale market, ensuring the best possible resale value.
