You can find Leopard catamarans available for charter in the Caribbean and Mediterranean as well as Indian Ocean. There are many crewed, all-inclusive options across the Caribbean, but most of the fleets usually offer bareboat or skippered yachts  The most popular Lagoon catamaran models for charter are the Lagoon 500, Lagoon 440 and new Lagoon 420/421 models.

About LEOPARD CATAMARANS
Robertson and Caine were ounded in 1991, and have initially been custom yacht builders. Over the years they built various different types and sizes of yachts from basic 36ft monohulls to luxury, state of the art carbon fibre racing boats up to 70ft in size. Some of these boats have been winners of major international races.  Over the last 7 years the business has switched primarily to manufacturing 38 to 62 foot catamarans. In 1995 Robertson and Caine entered into a relationship with The Moorings yacht charter company, and more recently with Sunsail, to provide specially designed catamarans for their worldwide fleets of bareboat and crewed yachts.

As a result of this co-operation, the company exposed itself to the worldwide market and are now very popular sailing catamarans in the Americas and the Carribbean.  Robertson and Caine use the most recognized manufacturers in the industry to provide high quality equipment and materials for the Leopard catamarans, and assuring the most efficient after sales service. High powered Yanmar engines, large Lewmar hatches and ports and oversized winches by Lewmar and Harken are just some of the featured hardware. Even the standard fuel and water tanks are larger than those typically offered by manufacturers as upgrades. Additional examples of the length R&C goes is to provided spare electrical wire leads through to the masthead and interior wire chases, anticipating the installation of future options if desired.

Robertson and Caine have become the largest catamaran builder in South Africa, supplying the complete line of Leopard catamarans to The Moorings which have become very successful in the world charter market. Leopards are noted for being superbly designed for holidays afloat as well as for their excellent build quality.

1991 - Robertson & Caine forme their boat building firm to construct high-tech composite racing boats

1995 - R&C form an alliance with The Moorings Charter Company. In the next four years they deliver more than 100 cruising cats of 38 and up to charter bases around the world

1997  - The Leopard 38, built by Robertson and Caine and designed locally in South Africa, is awarded first place in the SAIL magazine 'Top Ten Cruising Boats of the Year'

1998 - The Leopard 38 sailing catamaran in SAIL magazine's Top Ten

Moorings 4500 (Leopard 45 is the winner of CRUISING WORLD's 'Best Charter Boat of the Year' award

2001 - Robertson & Caine deliver the 150th yacht to The Moorings Charter Company

2002 - Leopard 42 in SAIL magazine's Top Ten
