CATAMARAN CRUISING REGATTA - GREECE

For the first time in history of sailing, there an International cruising catamarans regatta taking place. It will be organised in October 2010, in Athens, Greece.
More than 20 sailing catamarans from 38 to 50 feet will participate in the so called 1st Catamarans Cup which will take place from 23 rd to 30th October 2010.

An international regatta which is a combination of a sailing race and a relaxing holiday week, in the Greek islands with many side events such as s pecial welcome for the participants on every island of call , local events, prizing ceremonies, cocktail parties, beach BB-Q, dinners and lot of fun. Crews from all over the world are welcome to participate, choosing one of our catamarans. Individuals are al so welcome to join one of our open crews aboard our cats, no matter their skills and experience. Starting from Athens, the regatta will visit the Greek islands following a relaxing and enjoyable route, having also time to explore places of interest. oin the Catamarans Cup regatta, the catamarans passionate joy!

3rd and 4th Leg - Island Hydra - Dokos - Ermioni - 19NM
Prize ceremony, Skippers meeting , BB-Q party

6. Thursday 28th October 2010
5th Leg - Ermioni - Poros - 20NM
Closing ceremony Final Prizing, dinner

7. Friday 29th October 2010
Free sailing - Poros - Athens - 29NM
