Jeanneau 40.3 has been awarded the title of Best Value for 2005 by Cruising World Magazine's Boat of the Year contest. Picked from an initial field of 41 entries, the 40.3 advanced to the finals along with a group of 23 other nominees. At the end of the day when the sailing was done, the data analyzed and the ballots cast, the 40.3 rose to the top of the pack and was Cruising World's pick for overall winner for Best Value.
Interestingly enough, this is the same award that Cruising World gave to the Jeanneau 37 back in 2000. A boat that is still in production today having sold well over 1000 boats to date and still going strong. We are predicting the same level of success for the 40.3.

Like all Jeanneau's, the 40.3, with its twin helms, large cockpit and wide decks are just a few of the features that make sailing aboard the 40.3 a true pleasure.
Perhaps the best features of the 40.3 however, are found below decks in the comfort of the main salon. In fact, immediately upon entering the companionway, you are struck with the amazing feeling of open space. The all-teak interior coupled with the off-white headliner, help to create an environment that is both rich and inviting. A good workable
galley to starboard, large head with separate shower stall to port and a wonderful curvaceous settee in the main salon all contribute to the overall openness and appeal of the Sun Odyssey 40.3. In short, this boat is a winner!
